If you didn't care you wouldn't have brought it up. So on some level you do care.

    I don't care either and I don't care that you don't care

I barely get a smile on my birthday. It's hard to be excited when nobody else is.

But hey, I'm happy I'm still here. That's worth something.

Why not celebrate the fact that you are still alive, you're still here, breathing, thinking, living? You made it another year! You're a survivor.

My birthday was last week. I cried from midnight to 01.50 AM. On phone with a friend. And then I cried after I woke up. And I'm only 24. Birthdays should be forgotten...

They really are pointless. I find it ridiculous when people will not contact you, until it is your birthday. So, you end up having a few new friends one day out of the year.

If uou dont care, u would even remember a day before. I dont care about my birthday until my friend reminded me about my birthday.

I haven't cared about my birthday since I was little. I ve never held the parties for my birthday and invited my friends to my house on my birthday. My birthday is December 7th and I almost spent thinking nothing about my b day last year on my bday. No big deal.

I don't care, either. Mine, however, is in a little over two weeks, & I'm pretty happy about that.

Same here. I don't give a fuck about my birthday. IDGAF. Or, as a Brazilian guy might say: IDiGAFi.

@Parrish No, I dont care at all actually. I realize it is almost here thats all. Like today, its the 22nd of January. It passes through my mind "oh my birthdays on the 27th, 5 days away." But do i care? No.

hahaha... my birthday gets near,it comes and goes !!! i never ever cared about birthdays .. no one here wishes, no one remembers the date its just a normal day as any other day.... i don't expect people to give me gifts or throw a party or even wish me but if they do its a good feeling...

and you know what I'm not the only one .. almost majority people around me are like that .. though many or majority of my peers do celebrate their birthdays but that doesn't matter... no one in my family does and never plans to... my only brother the dearest and loved by all has never celebrated his birthday even....

Birthdays are pointless. I hate when people celebrate them.

Partly depends on how old you are...?

On my last birthday, I didn't even know it was my birthday until I noticed the date on an email. It doesn't really mean anything (that the earth is in the same portion of its solar orbit as when I was born). However, I've decided to celebrate my birthday and Christmas every year from now on and make it an excuse to indulge myself. Because of that, I'm actually looking forward to my birthday.

I know it means nothing much, but it doesn't mean you can't make it mean something.
