Is it normal that my bottom lip has been split for the past 6 months?

I've had my bottom lip split for a long time now and it doesn't seem to heal. I don't really wanna go to the GP though, that'd be OTT. I tried those lip thingies but they never work. Its annoying...

    I used to have a cut on the side of my lip that came and went for a year. It turned out I had a vitamin deficiency. Try taking more Biotin, Zinc, Iron, and B vitamins. It went away after I did that.

      I had a similar thing for a long time some years ago right at the corner where top lip meets bottom lip. Its called Angular cheilitis, very annoying. Yea these things involve very slight vitamin/mineral deficiencies usually

    Probably vitamin deficiency but could also be a sign of diabetes. Get to a doc FAST.

    I always had a split lip because I ripped off my lip skin and people were always like " OMG were you beat up, you're lip looks split!" annoyed the shit outta me. but maybe vitamins or a shit ton of lip balm.

    Maybe it's cancer get it checked. Scabs that don't heal can be basal cell carcinoma.

    I get this sometimes bc of COPD medication, but I wouldn't be putting up with it for months! IF not a doctor, why not a pharmacist?

    Calendula cream heals most skin problems but you may need something stronger after all this time: buggered if I'd put up with something with got in the way of kissing for that long!
