I have a boyfriend who is so attached to his dog, that he kisses the dog rather than me, and the dog sleeps in the bed with him everynight. We have never slept in bed together, and I resent the dog

    Because he knows his dog will always be happy to see him and be with him until he dies unlike a girlfriend

      That's how I feel. I wouldn't have time for someone who was jealous of my cat! My ideal mate would love animals as much as I do; dogs and cats sleeping in the bed.

    I've never been a big fan of animals to be honest, not because I hate them or anything just that they're too much effort to take care of and they can be kind of annoying. But it's kind of weird for someone to kiss a dog, unless ofcourse you're less attractive than said dog.

    Idk if its overly attached, but I do think that he should probably give you more attention. It sounds like you need it from him.
    I could be wrong though.
    I kiss my kitties and let them sleep in my bed any chance I get. Girlfriend or not, so I don't know. Sounds like he really loves his puppers.

    Animals often fill a void in people who have been spurned, rejected, or disrespected by people...a dog will not do those thongs

    have you tried talking to him about it? tbh I don't think you have anything to worry about but you should still let him know how you feel.. some people are really attached to their pets for some reason, it's perfectly normal.
    after all, a dog is a man's best friend supposedly
