Is it normal that my buttocks is itching after excessive pooping?

I recently had a severe kidney infection and had to be admitted to hospital and stay overnight with IV drips and when I got discharged, I was given these strong antibiotics pills and one of the side effects is diarrhoea so I've been pooping more than usual and my anus skin is all itchy. I'm a hypochondriac and obsessed with my personal hygiene so I'm worried I might have worms even though I clean twice daily (morning and evening).

    Going repeatedly and constant wiping irritates the area. Try some hemorrhoid cream (even if you don't have them) or possibly some witch hazel (though it briefly burns like mad).

    Antibiotics causes dry skin and diarrhea causes irritation. Drink a lot of fluids, stay out of the sun (most antibiotics cause photosensitivity) to stay hydrated, and try some PreparationH to relieve the itching.

    a worm test is a waste of time, other than pinworms or giardia from gulping lake water americans as a rule are worm free .

      I don't drink from lakes, I drink water from my kitchen tap and I'm British-European not African.
