Is it normal that my cat licks everything he sees when i scratch him?

When I scratch my cat's back, (right above the tail) he licks just about everything he sees in front of him. My hand, my face, the wall, cabnits... Is this normal or is my cat just really really weird?

    It's a pretty common things for cats. Does he also lift his butt up in the air when you pat him like that? My cats do it frequently.

    They do it because they like you, and they don't really know you are wearing clothing so it's not uncommon for them to lick other things too. They are just grooming you.

    Its normal its just a cat. my cat wont stop getting on me when i watch tv then go on my friend then get back on me.he can do this for hours until he grow tired of it then go to sleep.sorry for my english
