Well when we got her my mom started scratching her back and she starting licking her. It was awkward.....
Cats do that sometimes, it's their way of affection or one of them. It was just being friendly, sometimes cats will lick a human on the arm or leg, almost like washing them in the way they would wash each other as siblings.
I have two cats who are sisters and both of them wash each other and have washed my arm as a thank you although I don't like it, they are just being friendly.
its none of what they said my cat does it becuse he has feather-mites look it up or take your cat to the vet the mites can get on you and make you itch and they can become a problem
