Is it normal that my dog sits like a person?

My dog will sit down on our couch and lean back into the seat, her front paws out and everything. And she will sit there for a really long time until she's ready to lay down like a normal dog. IIN?

FYI, we didn't teach her.... She just does it.

    my friend's cat used to sit in that same position when he was cleaning his balls. it was hilarious!

    My dog sits like my dad. Arm on the armrest legs bent and out to the side so i say its normal
