Is it normal that my friend and i are basically married

So my best friend and I are basically a couple. We don't have sex and don't want to. We've gotten really close over the last few months and now we want to commit the rest of our lives to each other... As I said before we don't want to have sex with each other and since neither of us are asexual we'd want to keep our relationship open. We are both girls and unsure of what to think about our new found obsession with each other. Can anyone give us some guidance?

I'm going with infatuation. The more time spent together, the more if a trust, a deeper like for each other, and you have probably seen each other naked more than a few times. You start to admire each other more, and you get the feelings of closeness for each other. It's all natural as far as I'm concerned. Do you ever just feel like you want to hold her and kiss her with the deepest passion you have ever felt ? Again- normal , and even if it wasn't it's not up to a world of strangers to tell you what to do and not do according to the "moral majority". I wish the "moral majority" would just kiss my ass and realize we don't need others telling or "suggesting" how or what we should and shouldn't do. In fact I would even volunteer to be the person between you 2 that would make it a 3 some.

Marriage is more than being best friends and not having sex usually.
