Most of my friends are pregnant. We are all either just turned 20 or turning 21 this year. Myself and only 2 other friends are not pregnant. Is it normal to have babies so young?!
I'm 26, been married for 6 years and have no kids yet. We have been trying for 5 years and nothing, so we kind of gave up for now and decided to have fun before making little ball and chains called kids. Here in Utah, my husband and I are the black sheep. Everyone I know had 3 kids before 25 or 26. It's not 'kosher' to have kids out of wedlock, but the fact that I'm married makes it even more shocking to everyone. It's stupid and annoying. Every chick at work went through the pregnancy phase all at the same time about a year and a half ago. Now their all pregnant AGAIN. It gets really annoying when you get looked up and down everyday and someone says "How long have you been married?" "6 years." "Oh wow! Do you guys not want kids or something?"
WTF?! Who says that?!
Not normal for your friends to do this. I hope they've gone to college. People need to be financially secure when they have kids. I think people should wait. I think you're normal for waiting.
