Is it normal that my friends are mad at me when i get good marks?

My so called friends, study just as hard as I do, but when marks come. I will ask "oh what did u get" and Ashleigh this girl would be like "umm.. A mark.." then she would say it and get all mad! She would even ignore me because I got a bettermark then her, and sometimes she lies to me about her marks so we just stopped talking about it and marks. Then report cards came, she constantly bugged me and I told her we shouldn't talk about it, but we bugged me so much, I just told her then she ignored me for over 1 week, almost. And sent me hate mail. Like I don't brag about my marks because there not amazing or anything.. But when someone asks I'm not gonna lie!
.. So is her bitchyness normal?

    Well i dont understand why she asks for your marks and then gets mad when you tell her. Have a talk with her, ask her whats going on. But it is normal, shes probably jealous.

    Oh that sucks, and yeah. She wont be going to my school next year therefore everything should be okay..unless I meat another one. It doesnt really bother me, but it's funny seeing how immature & little minded people can be!

    I lied about my exam results. I didn't go to a great school. Of my Physics group, one got a D, one got an E, and everyone else failed, except me. In Chemistry, only one person except me passed. Only one friend knows what my actual results are. I think the rest of them suspected I was lying, though.

    I don't advocate lying at all, but it smoothed things over.
