Is it normal that my girlfriend wears her sneakers without socks?

Hi, I am currently living with my girlfriend and we’re renting an apartment together. However I have noticed that she never wears socks with her shoes. I asked her why and she said she only wears socks when it gets cold outside or she doesn't really bother. (The weather is pretty warm in our state right now). But isn’t it gross to wear shoes without socks because I’ve smelled her shoes after a long day and it’s not pretty, and the insides of the shoes are also dirty/discoloured with dark stains. Most often she wears a pair of low cut leather sneakers like this:

    Yeah, I see a lot of girls sporting that look - the sneakers without socks things is totally a look right now

    Also: apparently some guys have a thing for it. My bf does for sure. I'm wondering if it's normal

    I was always taught that you need to apply foot powder if you're going to wear shoes without socks. There's less of a smell when foot powder is used.

    In Colombia the word for smelly feet is pecueca.

    My girl friend does it too. But I love pulling off her sweaty shoes and licking and smelling her feet. She does it for me.

    Yeah it's gross? My friend does this and works at a hospital so she's on her feet all day, her shoes are nasty lol.

    Yes it’s normal, me & my girlfriend both don’t wear socks, we just hate socks.

    Sounds like they'd be smelly. I wouldn't suggest that she keep doing it, but it's really her choice.
