Is it normal that my hands always have to be doing something?

I am left and right handed, I can pretty much do anything with either hand, it doesnt matter. I'm not sure if this is why I am always fidgeting or not, but my hands are always doing something. I won't even be thinking about it and one hand will be doing one thing and the other hand is doing something else. Is this normal?

    I'm exactly the same. I'm officially right handed and I do use my right for writing but I'm pretty much ambi. And my hands always have to be doing something too. I usually have little nick-nacks or something around which I play with without thinking about it.

    I have the same problem. If I'm writing things down and listening to music I have to be drumming with one hand on the table or leg, were ever. And its even worse when I'm not listening to music my brain just comes up with a tune and hand just plays it.

    It's insane... in order to keep my hands still I have to really focus and make them not do anything, and it's like the longest 30 seconds of not doing anything. lol Im crazy.
