Is it normal that my house feels empty at night when my mom is gone

When my mom works late or goes out I feel empty inside and my house becomes the scene of a horror movie.Me and my mom are close and when she is home it's all laughs and smiles but when I'm home alone it's sadness and scariness
Is this normal??sorry about the punctuation.

    It's the same way when my parents and brother are out of the house. Then I'm left alone with nothing but the walls. I would say juts normal.

    My mums dead and my life feels empty so I consider it normal
