Haha sometimes he's outside fixing something or maybe he just relieved himself, but he will play with his "boys" a little. I've watched him from the window so he doesn't realize I've seen him. Sometimes he has done it and remembers I'm standing next to him. I think he likes the smell. I'm not grossed out. It's endearing to me. Sometimes he'll tease me or his son about smelling his "boys". Wondering if anyone else does this...

    I do the same thing. I do kinda like the smell; not in a way that I'd want my room to smell like my balls, but just a whiff of it after your scratched them. I like it. It reminds me of Russian beef dumplings that I really liked as a kid. I've read there are lots of pheromones released in that area, so the faint smell is really supposed to be... "inviting."

    And as the other commenter said too, do it for hygienic reasons. Sometimes when I worked hard or it was a hot day, I might scratch my nuts, then smell my hands and holy cheezus! I know right away it's time for a shower.

    Its totally normal and even an unconscious thing to do!I adjust my balls all the time, its just difficult to do in public!

    I say it's not normal because this is the first time I've heard of a straight dude doing but like 'zoffix' said there are pheromones in it so I assumed that was why I liked it but I also like the smell of my own sweat so what do I know

    Yeah, it's fairly common.
    Lots of guys adjust or scratch when they think no one is looking or watching.
    The smelling thing might be because he's wondering if it smells bad down there. Or because he likes it, either way, that's something he would know why he likes to smell after adjusting or scratching.
