Is it normal that my jaw locks up in dreams?

Here lately when I have dreams, my jaw locks up when I'm talking to someone. I don't have a problem with this in real life. But in my dream if I try to continue speaking it is very painful. I've gotten to where when it happens then I know I'm dreaming and can lucid dream. I was just wondering if this happened to anyone else? Like ifor youre fighting someone, it feels like your barely hitting them?

Try "programming" your own endin for the dream. Before you go to sleep, think about the dream, but modify the ending. Imagine yourself "telling them off" with everything you want to say. Then your dream may straighten itself out, and you may even get up the courage to tell them off for real.

Yes I've had similar dreams, and I also interpret dreams. To me they mean that I have trouble expressing and defending myself. What do you think?

I agree with the having trouble defending myself. I've been friends with this person for a while, a "frenemy" if you will, and I don't know if I just noticed it or they changed. But they made rude comments to me, snide, im-better-than-you attitude. It made me feel very uncomfortable even though I was close to them. If I said something to them, they would say "chill out I was just kidding" or something along those lines. I eventually got tired of it and stopped talking to them. They still attempt to contact me but I just ignore or say "sorry I've been busy." This person has actually been in a couple of my dreams. I feel like this has something to do with it, like I feel like I should tell them how I feel but I'm stuck.
