Is it normal that my moms cat 'likes' me

I think my moms cat has a crush on me!
The first day we went to go get him,well...I don't know...there was a connection,and I told mom we had to get him!He was the runt of the litter so he was quite small.But when we brought him home every night he would come up to my bed. (I slept on a bunk-bed with my sister) Every night he would stand at the foot of the ladder and mewl and howl 'till I came down and bring him up to my bed.I actually had to teach him how to climb the ladder!
It has been two and a half years since we got him and he doesn't always come up onto my bed as much,but when I'm doing chores he'll sit on the counter and howl 'till I pet him!And he doesn't do this with anyone else!
The other day I was in the shower and he came in and started to howl,and when I came out he started checking out my ass!!
And to be honest....I kind of think its cute!

    Lol this makes me laugh. You feel 'chemistry' and a 'spark' with your cat... it's cute, but I can't think of anything less arousing and romantic than a cat.

    I have 3, I love them to BITS. but they're my little babies.

    He doesn't have a crush on you. Cats just look at things sometimes, and sometimes they become attached to people. It has nothing to do with sex or romance.

      Well I'm just saying!When we first got him it just felt weird whenever he came near me,and whenever ever I pet him.I might be crazy,but there's always a little spark whenever he comes near me!

    Lol no, it's nothing like that. He loves you, but it sounds like he thinks you're his mom or sister. My pets are all attached to me, especially one cat who cuddles with me in bed almost every night. And she's scared of storms, and she'll look up at me like she wants me to keep her safe...it's cute lol
