Is it normal that my mouth feels fresher when i don't brush my teeth

When I don't brush my teeth in the morning before I eat...after I eat, my mouth doesn't feel dirty. But when I brush my teeth in the morning, my mouth feels dirty and my breath doesn't feel as fresh. I have gone hours without brushing my teeth and my mouth feels better than it does when I do brush. I have good oral hygiene; I brush morning and night and sometimes during the day, I floss and I use mouthwash. But sometimes I skip. I wonder if anyone else feels like this? Of course I brush eventually because plaque builds up and it looks nasty but I notice that after I brush, I get bad breath. Is this normal?

Maybe it's just that you don't like the flavor of toothpaste you're using. Switch toothpaste brands or flavors.

OP could you please define "Fresher" because I honestly think we are reading from two completely different dictionaries.

Jessica Simpson hates to brush her teeth she says she uses her t-shirt to rub the scum off them. apparently being rich doesn't guarantee oral hygiene.
