Is it normal that my pet bird doesnt really want me to touch him?

I have already take care of my pet bird for 2 years but I don't understand why he doesn't really want me to touch his little body ...

    PS: If you want a pet that likes to be touched, get a cat or a dog

        Yeah I think this is normal. Most birds don't like to be touched even if they love you.

    It’s so normal. I have a canary for 4 years and i still can’t touch it. Small sized birds usally scare.

    I've never had a bird for a pet, but it's my impression that they don't really like to be touched. He might like to perch on your shoulder though if he feels comfortable with you.

    I think so. I have chickens and some of them are happy when you pet them, but others don't like to be touched.

    Many small sized birds don't like being touched!
    ESPECIALLY SMALL SIZED BIRD*
