Is it normal that my sister gets headaches when she sees metal racks?
I want to start by saying I love my sister. She's nineteen, she was a cheerleader in highschool, people person and funny.
Going on though, when my sister and I go shopping she always covers her forehead with her arm and squints her eyes at the sight of metal racks. Our family can't be at Marshalls for more than 20 minutes. She says that looking at the racks gives her a headache and an uncomfortable feeling. She has done that ever since we could remember. At first we thought maybe it was because of the shinny metal and the fluorescent lighting. That maybe she was sensitive to the light it reflects or what not but no. I don't think so because she doesn't like metal bats either. She doesn't like holding them. She says it feels like it's going to hit her.
Is it really that far from normal to have a maybe not so common fear (or whatever that is)?
Yes, it's normal to have fears, no big deal. | 17 | |
