She sounds like someone who kinda took you in and you let her. Shes like a mother figure to you. Perfectly normal.

Teachers are supposed to be mentors. When did this become a bad thing?

Normal, but be careful. My older sister is a teacher and through the years, somewhat befriended some former students. All that leads to are accusations, chatter, and he said-she said. Word gets out, and soon it's "did you hear Mrs. so and so had Joe at her house all night?". No matter what gender, people like to make stuff up.

Ermmm...Teachers actually aren't allowed to have you as friends on Facebook or anything like that [someplaces in my country Teacher aren't actually allowed to have Facebook], but I understand what you are talking about as I'm real good friends with my English Teacher who is around 26 - she's real supportive, I can confide in her & she gives me advice & I ask for it sometimes. I'm not friends with her on Facebook or anything like that but I plan to be after I've left the School completely [after finishing Sixth Form].
Maybe you should only be friends on Facebook after you leave school, as she could get into trouble for it, I mean like Teachers aren't even allowed to touch students in some places anymore ['Touch Rules'], so maybe you should wait. It's not like you can't talk to her anymore if you don't, you go to school everyday for five days of the week.

Totally normal. You are lucky to have someone with maturity to turn too

Yea that's good. I'm happy for you. If she isn't a dick head and is wise etc then you should be happy

Though her intentions are probably good, communicating with you on that level and to that extent is at the very least unethical.
