Is it normal that ops exist for the amusement of commenters?

So I've been having this thought: It seems to me that the entire point of this site is to give those in the comment sections amusement at the expense of our various OPs. Anyone else feel me?

    Yeah, I see what you're saying. Sometimes I have to remind myself that the people behind the posts are the users we see on the comments section also. That they are among us, not some foreign contributor to the site. I sometimes keep my comments more in check when considering this. I may want to say "no you nasty fuck, mixing seafood and ice cream is not normal!" But then I realize that someone I might have some respect for or like may have written the post and say "doesn't seem like those flavors would compliment each other" or some such shit. Then a lot of times I forget and I'm a dick :( ha

    I don't ''feel you.'' The thought of ACTUALLY feeling you creeps me out and I'd break out in hives, but I digress...

    I try to always be respectful and sensitive even if I do want to say you are a backwards ass close minded fuck! or I AM now embarrassed, and ashamed of myself for not seeing that your the only one that could ever be right about THIS! I mean wtf was I thinking RIGHT? LOL On occasion I get one that mistakes my kind, and generous nature for weAkness, or stupidity, when I AM neither BIGfuckinOOPS! Love to you all!

    I think it's on the OP. A well written and intelligent post (not, "why does my $12.00 scale not read the same as the $1200.00 one in the doctor's office?") deserves a well written and intelligent response. If the OP wishes help, disrespecting the members of IIN with a jumble of misspelled words and incoherent thoughts does no good for either.

    Nope. I'm sure many OPs are here because they need legit help and advice. They shouldn't be rediculed and made out to be nothing more than Comedic Clowns for the rest of IIN. I for one like being taken seriously but as a code, I need to take others seriously too. Even if they just troll me.

    That's something that everyone needs to go by.
