Is it normal that raffi torres is still in the nhl?

He's a repeat-offending head hunter who hospitalized Hossa tonight with a despicable blind side charge. Hossa didn't even have the puck. These dirty hits are getting out of control and guys like him should be banned from the league, but Shanahan will probably only suspend him for a few games.

This topic is pretty specific and if you aren't a hockey fan, you're most not likely to get or care about this post (of course I'm talking about the average IIN user).

Anyways, I had found out about the hit the other day on SportsCenter. It looked vicious and uncalled for. I agree with you there. They seem to be getting worse in the NHL. My immediate reaction was something like: ''Suspend him for the entire playoffs!''

I feel bad for him seeing as he didn't deserve that. My friend is a Blackhawks fan, and the loss of Hossa really hurts. I really think that the league should come down hard on him. And I hope they do.

Well, he really pounded the $&@! Out of marian hossa. But the NHL and their suspensions are kind of corrupt. They will suspend people for very minor offenses, but give suspensions not too harsh to major offenses. They are just trying to stay pleasing with the fans, not overlook anything, but not be a nazi.

Hahaha, but you'd be surprised though at how many different types of people use this site! It kind of sucks when there aren't enough people to talk about certain subjects, such as this. Hockey is great and all, but it's not the biggest sport in terms of popularity in the world.

Anyways, it's Torres 4th infraction this year, and I think at this point he should just not be allowed to play. Or if they do let him, he should sit out a year. And is there any word about how bad Hossa's concussion is?
