Those who eat a Med diet are a lot less sedentary than your normal American. They walk to the shops down small, uncongested streets in towns and villages where the air isn't a poisonous mixture of pollutants.
What's a moderate amount of UNHEALTHY FATS compared to the toxic world you probably live in?

I think that is the point being on a diet where the food is so good and filling that you don't feel like your dieting.

The whole concept of healthy and unhealthy fats has been revised and this is not true anymore. Information on food and how to eat constantly changes, it isn't even worth to change your alimentation according to these information because it's never that reliable.
