Is it normal that some people are illogical in judging?

Yesterday, we had an open forum in our
classroom with my adviser and SOME of my classmates accused me for
stealing the money since last year. I got really shocked and angry
because I can prove them they're wrong and I wasn't brought up that way.
I asked them why did they think that and they said, "because you're too
defensive and you're always over-reacting whenever some of our
classmates lost their money". I got more angry because they judge me
according to my natural behavior without any proof.

if you ask someone is he/she telling the thruth an honest person will be offended and a liar will only lie to you more.

    hmm i've read that somewhere..

    • That's only partially how it works. The reaction is true: an honest person would be hurt and angry to be wrongfully accused, while a liar would try to act unaffected and further try to manipulate.

The problem resides in the reaction of others. The majority of the time, people will interpret an emotional display by the innocent person as proof of their guilt. Anything that honest person now says in their defense will be seen as more lies; while the calm, collected liar uses the suspicions of the crowd to incriminate the innocent person further.

What DO you do in school?
You sure have not learned how to communicate in the English language very well. Your point would be better made if it didn't have to be deciphered.

Didn't you get the point from the title? I didn't ask you to correct my stupid grammar so shut the freak up. Well, even my grammar or deliberation of this post is wrong, some people still can understand what I'm trying to say. Bless your mind. *hands down*

Yeh, everybody is a professional psychologist and behavioural expert these days. That's really poor form for people to accuse you like that, sounds like a bit of a witch hunt.

You still shouldn't have stolen it, though.

  • People have told me getting mad makes you look guilty. I don't get this either though. If someone blames me for something I didn't do I will get angry because I don't like being accused of what I didn't do. If I was trying to hide something I would try to act casual and not flip out. I don't get it either.

    • That's exactly right, a liar will try to act casual. Someone telling the truth would feel hurt and angry.

Sadly, people have tendency to view a truthful person's reaction as proof as a damning display of their "guilt".
