Is it normal that the college im going to doesnt have clubs?

So i started this college 1 month ago and then i realize it doesnt have clubs at all. Join in club activities is not my main concern but joining in clubs help your resume alot doesnt it? I find this very strange. Im studying in Australia and most of my friends have clubs in their college/uni. Maybe mine is too small?

    are you sure its not a vocational school , a lot of them fool pupils into thinking they are colleges , does the college have a football team? some nothing but fraud schools like the university of phoenix were they give credit for work experience. if you can be the teacher its probably one of those fake schools. Trump ran one remember, sure he gave refunds but everyone wasted time and it was all legal.

    Sports clubs are expensive to maintain, but a student should be able to start any kind of club if it doesn’t cost the school anything.
    If this is for your resume, start one and be the founder and first president/chair. Leadership is more important on resumes than participating.
