Is it normal that the is it normal iphone app kicks me out?

I use the iPhone app but sometimes it closes out of the page I'm on randomly. It closes the app all together. I notice that this is usually when it updates new stories or it's time for the random stories to change. Is this normal? Does this happen to other people who use the is it normal iPhone app? I'm wondering if it's just my phone or not. (I have the 3G) thanks!

    Mine does it when I am finished typing a comment and press *submit comment* it's rather annoying because I lose all that I have typed. But this isn't the only app it closes on.

    It happens to me at least once a day & for different reasons. Sometimes I'm just about to submit a comment, sometimes I'm just scrolling through the new stories.

    I hate it when that happens. I thought going to an iPhone 4 would change that. I was wrong.

    Well, it happens on anything for me. Let's say I'm on my favorites. I tap to recent comments. It crashes. visa versa. Or I'm just reading a story and it will crash.

    I know why it does that!!!! if you are in the new posts section it will kick you out and if you come back in it has loaded new stories!!! :) I don't mind it now that I know why. It would be nice if it updated without crashing though.

    It does that to me too. I have the iPod 4th generation. It doesn't do it to me very often' though. Normal.

    It happens to me all the time. I reported it through iTunes on my phone. It can be quite annoying.
