Is it normal that the sound of revving engines make me want to cry

Whenever I hear someone rev their engine really loudly, I feel a strong mix of anger, fear, and discomfort.
It's not a mild feeling either, I start trembling. I clench my fists and grit my teeth, I want to scream, I want to cry.
Is this normal?

Did you by any chance have a bad experience when you were young of which a revving engine brings back memories?

For some reason, the deep booming noise a car driving by with loud speakers (with the bass turned up) and rolled up windows makes has always been a bit creepy to me. I think it is mostly because I had a nightmare when I was a kid about someone in a car like that trying to abduct me, and I knew they had arrived where I was when I heard their booming speakers.

    • not that I can remember
I was in a car accident when I was maybe 4 or 5, but that seems to have been my only bad experience with cars.

Engines revving really annoys me. I get really agitated. Also fire trucks.
