Ever since I woke in the hypnagogic state I've been terrified of it happening again, honestly the most terrifying experience of my life
I have the same thing. I'll get scared to go to sleep, because I'm afraid something unknown will wake me up, such as a loud noise, creak, gunshot, etc. these often happen to me sometimes, so normally I just go without sleep until I can't take it anymore, then just pass out for like, two days.
