Is it normal that this girl in class keeps grinning every time i talk?

There's a girl in my class (there are about 5 other people in this class) and every time I say something, she turns to the girl next to her with a huge grin on her face. She does it EVERY TIME I say something. She never laughs out loud at anything I say, so I can't accuse her of anything.

I'm not being paranoid, because my friend heard her say she dislikes me. This girl keeps doing it and I've asked my teacher to tell her something, but she said she wouldn't say anything because she doesn't believe me. Is this normal? Has this happened to anyone else before?

Ugh! You just brought me back to high school! Yeah! Ignore those bitches that do that. Most likely, what she is doing is talking about you behind your back or she pretending like everything you say is funny because she wants a reaction out of you. You probably don't say anything stupid, but she's acting like it because she thinks it's funny to make fun of you. Don't feed it any attention. I had to deal with annoying, bastardly kids like that all the time through out high school. But if it does start to get under your skin too much and she doesn't stop, give her the middle finger and say, "I love you too." That was always my favorite.

No one has ever told you have a strange voice, right?

If that's not the case, you may be the source of an inside joke or she is just screwing with you.

Bottom line, ignore it as there's nothing you can do. You could start making up your own reasons for her doing so, which might be fun.

It's possible that she has a crush on you, to be honest. Clearly, she's extremely immature either way, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. The other possibility is that she's, simply put, a self-righteous bully, and is doing that because she somehow thinks it's funny to make fun of you. Don't let her behavior bother you, regardless of her motives. From the way you've described her, I would be led to think that she's not going to get very far in life with an attitude like that. So relax, she's the one with the problem. Not you :)

Maybe she's jealous of you, or she's a nutcase, or she gets embarrassed when she talks to you. She sounds like a wierdo. Ignore her, she's acting strange not you.

Become friends. Get to know her. If she doesn't wanna be friends, she dislikes you. If you are friends, don't tell her any personal stuff just in case if she likes to gossip.

I've seen that. It means she doesn't like you/what you say. Don't worry about it.

If she likes grinning so much, you should give 'er a Chelsea Smile.

Either she likes you or she needs to be ignored.
