Is it normal that this image is so terrifying?

So, I am 29 years old and have had a generally good life aside from some problems with OCD and anxiety disorders. I was looking online one day for work and an image of a creepypasta came up. It was traumatizing. I had panic attacks from it and the image would haunt my brain, although, the other creepy pastas didn’t scare me. To this day, I’m so obsessed with it but am too afraid to look at it. I don’t know why it’s just this one image, because before then I had never seen nor heard of this image before. And I couldn’t think of a time in my life that mocked that image, nothing has ever traumatized me that much. Is this normal?

    thats really creepy , it triggers a memory from my childhood . my mother would beat me with a belt and open up wounds on the back of my legs that could have been eligible for stitches i remember looking at the orange fat under the blood. And how she would smear Vaseline on the wound put me in long pants in summer to hide it from my dad, she said he would kill her if he found out so i hid it all from him . latter in life she would beat me for fun because she would trust i would tell no one. so one day a next door neighbor trespassed in my yard , i was six now and i piked up a broken fan belt on the ground and hit him it left a mark on him and it in an instant brought back the horror of my torture , i got out a scream and i cried and the horror was so sever i could not speak for hours, all my mother said was he should not have been in our yard. so dealing with creepy pasta is troublesome. i bet it is . i bet it is.

    You're 29? I thought creepypastas stop being scary around 12-14. And yeah I have OCD and anxiety disorders too but for real shit so don't get offended. I'm guessing it's some photoshopped bs like Jeff the killer or some lame crapola like that's.

        I looked up creepypasta and saw some images now. Yes, I can see how some of those images can really scare a little kid. There was a particularly freaky looking one I saw called "the last step". I can't believe I never heard of it til now.

    I had a similar experience a few weeks ago. I'm a creepypasta fan and I often delve way too deep into things. But it wasn't Jeff. His pictures don't scare me anyway. I think I might have found the original smiledog image though, but not sure. I've seen all the fake ones on google images and it was none of them. I honestly don't remember how I found it. But it scared the piss out of me. When it popped up I got so scared that I went completely cold and couldn't move and couldn't look away. It was so demented looking and screwed up. Everything about it was wrong. He wasn't even smiling like in all the google images, but more like an angry human looking mixed with a demonic smile. It was just terrifying and unnatural. I haven't been able to sleep as well since.
