Is it normal there is knats all over my kitchen?

I realized many of them are coming from outside but I also noticed they are coming up through cracks in the kitchen pipe. These same bugs are all over the windows outside and seem to be sneaking through the screen. I heard apple vinegar kills them but I don't have apple but I have like 3 other kinds. I have white, red and rice whine vinegar. Its these tiny white and black buts about the size of a pinhead.
