regardless of situation, i just think it's highly annoying for anyone to slap the arm of someone. (especially girls, why DO THEY SLAP OTHER's ARM LIKE THAT?!) i'm a girl myself, and I have never ever slapped anyone's arm even when i'm annoyed; I'll just roll my eyes and shake my head.

I am a person who 'bullshits' with her friends. A LOT. but there's this particular situation that made a friend of mine slap my arm. Class ended and I tell her to come over to take a look at this funny .gif I wanted her to see, but everyone had their PCs switched off, I followed suit, besides I was rushing for lunch. She comes over and says "what was it you wanted to show me." I told her it was too late, I wanted to get lunch and she just slapped my arm. JUST LIKE THAT. WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS THAT FOR?! I JUST. I CAN'T UNDERSTAND. I- GRRRRRHHHGH.

and it seems as if every other gal pal thinks it's totally okay to slap my arm while they don't receive the same treatment from each other. IS IT JUST ME? OH BUDDHA WHAT THE HECK!

so, is it normal to think this an absolutely heinous decorum of showing friendly affections to anyone?

      Absolutely right.Don't touch me man! It is perfectly normal to dislike uninvited contact, people who touch you to maintain your interest drive me bonkers.Just perform a deliberate block and push away with your forearm, it may not go down too well at first.But it sure aint' fighting talk to do this, and they should get the message..after a couple of swift blockings.I'm sorry to answer the question by way of 'reply' but I can't be fucked to get past the women arguing further down this page...sorry Avante'.

      i believe it happens everywhere, the arm slapping thing happens mainly when: the girl is slapping guy's arm playfully; that's flirting. arm-slapping, i can never understand the people who do it.
