Is it normal to accidentially start a blitzkrieg against my neigbors?

Sometimes when I don't really pay attention I make stupid mistakes, like knocking over a coffee cup or putting the remote in the fridge. However back in July I accidentally blitzkrieg'd my neigbors and two days ago I did it again. It worries me a little bit. What if that happens again in an uncomfortable situation, like a date? As far as I know girls don't like military in the restaurant. Is that true or am I overthinking this? Did something similar happen to you too? How can I stop it?
