Is it normal to act differently around different people?

I have several different friends and acquaintances that I act differently around. Some freinds are immature in which I act immature around, some freinds are serious and straight forward in which I am the same way. It almost seems like my personalty changes to accustom other peoples personalities, so that way we can get along better. Is this Normal?

I am just the same! I think it's pretty normal-we all have to adjust in ways to fit different situations. I think different people bring out different sides of our personalities and that's not a bad thing as long as the changes aren't too extreme!

Yeah, of course. Although it gets really difficult if you meet lots of people you know in different contexts at the same time.

I do this too. It's good to be able to adapt to your surroundings.

you must be very social. It is normal, we all do it. I act differently at work then with my close friends, and I act differently with my not so close friends then I do my close friends.

    very normal.
