Is it normal to act insane?
I have a reputation at my school for being weird. I don't care. I'm rather socially isolated anyway, so I don't seek other's approval.
One day, some guy was trying to irritate me by constantly pestering me with subjects he knew I either hated or didn't like to discuss. When the classic ignore-them-until-they-find-a-new-target approach didn't work, I slowly turned to him and then described to him exactly what I would do with his intestines after I sliced them out of his abdomen when he was alone in his house with no one to help him. He left me alone afterwards.
Evidently all he told people was that I was crazy, and in the following days people started getting nervous around me. Then, someone tried striking up a conversation when I was in a particularly bad mood. I turned to him and spoke a string of Latin in a dark tone. He left.
Turns out, I find it funny when people are frightened of me. I'm pretty intimidating, six foot two, usually wearing black (not goth or emo, just like the look of it) and not really chatty. I don't go out of my way to freak people out, just when the opportunity presents itself.
TL:DR: is it normal to act crazy?
