Is it normal to all of a sudden have all white hair?

I'm 30 white female. I always thought you notice one or two greys first but all of a sudden months back I realized my roots are all white not even grey just like super white..I let it grow out to see if it's actually all white and if my brown comes back and it didn't it's all white.. ALL of my hair is white all of it not even one strand of my brown hair is there. This happened suddenly literally went from brown to all white. I never heard of this. Is it normal? My mom only noticed a few greys in her 30s and only went more grey in her 40s.. my dad only noticed his first greys in his 50s.. I'm confused

    I’ve heard that trauma can turn people’s hair grey/white?
