Well I have this boyfriend that I have been dating since October. I love him very much, but for some reason i seem to be really shy around him! I have tried to talk to him, but I never have the nerve for the words to come out!
I was wondering, is this normal?
And is there any way I can get over my shyness?
In all honesty you shouldnt really have much time for talking what with all the time you should be spending cleaning his house, cooking him meals and doing his laundry.
In fact go make him a sandwich right now.
I think we need to know your age in order to properly be able to understand the situation. If you're 12, for instance, I wouldn't worry about dating a guy too much and being shy. However, if you're a 24 year old that's been dating a dude since October AND STILL can't utter a sound, you probably should see someone about that.
The only talking you should be doing is through the use of body language, if you know what I mean!
It's normal... if you weren't with him. Usually whenever you're with someone you get over the shyness pretty quickly, then you tend to become more confident and comfortable with that person and you get to know that person more by talking to them, otherwise you never know who they are and you might as well be dating a stranger. As far as relationship advice, if you want this to last then you need to communicate with him and get to know each other; otherwise I can't see this lasting for very long.
well first of all you should date someone that doesnt make you shy.your problem is a sign of a bad relationship.
Just spend a lot of time with him, if u still don't talk maybe it's not mentctocbe
