Is it normal to always have a song stuck in your head?

No matter what, I always have a song playing in my head. Often it's just the chorus, but it can also be just one line, or as weird as just the instrumental part. And the only way I can successfully get one song out of my head is to replace it with another. Is that normal?

Yesss! Constantly. I have several songs in my head at all times. I could probably speak in lyrics for the rest of my life

Tons of songs. Anything I hear on the radio or any cd I listen to. Way to much to list. It differs day to day

It's not all the time but I do get about two or three songs stuck in my head for about a month at a time and they play about 25% of the time. There's no accounting for what they'll be either. This last month has been The Killing Moon by Echo & the Bunnymen, and the aria from Madame Butterfly.

They seem to be on the way out, though, and I already know one of the things that will replace them. Adverts for the Paralympics here have been using Public Enemy's Harder Than You Think and it's completely burrowed into my mind.
