In the early morning hours of Saturday, August 13th my beautiful 81 year old, Colombian mother passed away from congestive heart failure. I called 911, and gave her compressions for longer than I can remember before the paramedics arrived. I felt dizzy, lightheaded and like I was gonna leave my body. I really just miss my mother a lot, and I wish she were still alive. I feel like I'm losing my mind.

That sucks bud. 81 is still a ripe old age to die though.

She's watching over you. Trust me. I've been technically dead twice and brought back. When I was, I was talking about a grandmother I never knew about or met. There is something else out there.

I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I am very close with my mother and can't imagine what you are going through.

It's completely normal to ask for prayers, and I'm sure most of us have no problem praying for you! I'll definitely be keeping you in my prayers!

I'm really sorry for your loss. It's fun to be dumb and poke fun at each other or sometimes try to rile someone up on this site, but behind these usernames we're all people. Thank you for that reminder, and I hope you find a comforting way to help you through this loss, whether it's through yourself or leaning on loved ones
