Is it normal to ask gf to "pull my finger" just before farting?

Whenever I was about to fart, I would say to my GF "Pull my finger".

I used to find this enormously funny!

(needless to say we are no longer together, I wasn't 'mature enough' for her - who would've thought!?)

BTW I am 41 going on 15

Is it normal that I would ask her to do this?
