Is it normal to bark at cats?

I'm afraid of cats so much. When a cat comes near to me I get panic and start to bark like a dog. I think that maybe it will go away.

    thats actually funny. cats get spooked easily so any loud noise or crazy behavior would scare a cat right up a tree.
