An atheist? My grandparents on both sides of my family are overly religious people who have forced god on me since I was a child, but I am smart enough to make my own conclusions about life without somebody telling me how it happened. I haven't been to church in years. However, I do agree with some things the church teaches like not to have pre-maridal sex, but I just can't believe the theory of a god. Is this normal?

    It makes me sad to see people that can't see how much God loves them and how real he is! How do these miraculous miracles happen without them? After everything in life how could it not be In your heart?

      Agree. Religion is just as much God as a human being. It can only try and describe the indescribable into a physical world that stems from an unbound spiritual realm which we are all connected to internally. Religion is a tool that is supposed to help comfort and guide you to truth, not scare you into acting the way another person thinks you should. If anything, that's the Devil's job right there, he functions out of fear. You should never fear-God like all those morons out there try and tell you to, it's just another form of control..

    It is normal to have your own opinions on a variety of subjects regardless of your religious beliefs.

    In other words yes, you can be an atheist or agnostic and agree with elements of a religious belief system. Such as; "it is wrong to murder".

    Yes it is okay that you do not want to have pre-marital sex. It is your choice, but please do not vocally judge others for making their own choices.

    Don't worry, if there is a God then I believe that we really are made in his image and all of the thoughts you have are ones that he expects you to wonder about. It may not make any sense, but it's not your fault your atheist even if God is real only bc you're a logical human being who needs more concrete facts to even be able to wrap your mind around the concept of a being that has never once opened up to you from the sky in a blazing hallelujah. And He gets that. Some people only need faith to comfort them while others can't force themselves to believe w/o some sort of proof. An all-knowing-all-loving God would understand this, and if anything it's the work of the "devil" that would convince a person of anything otherwise. You're not going to hell for doubt, you might for murder and etc.. My point is, if there is a God and you're an atheist, by the very definition of who he/she/it is loves you more than you could ever know and you WON'T be punished for doubting that fact, because there is nothing more sad to him than knowing that being He created is suffering in any way at all. Because of free-will, He patiently waits for us to come back to him, not the other way around.

    Ok so the day u die , ur gonna be one of the person who didnt belive in anything and will be scared that you won't know where your going to be going, and when u finally arrive in HELL , ur gonna really wish you had belived in God and will ask for forgiveness at the worst moment , so...
