I'm a 22 year old female and I am single and have never even been close to marriage or a serious relationship. Those things just feel odd to me. Should I ignore these feelings and marry quickly out of fear of dying alone?

omg ur just 22. i say in ur 30s maybe u could consider this thing. a lot of ppl wanna enjoy life 1st like me. im 23 and im still a virgin so me being a guy might surprise ppl cuz of what i didnt do yet but hey im not rusing to get married yet either. just focus on having fun first and doing things u always thought of doing before marriage
There is nothing wrong with it. You want to be alone and everyone should respect that. I live the same and I am happy .
Whats not normal is wanting to marry for such a dumb reason.
Why the fuck do people want to just settle down and get married? Especially so early in life. I often wonder if I'm the only one who realizes how stupid this is and that there are much greater things in life that following societies expectations.

I rushed into a relationship my last time around, and I really wish I had taken it slow. Definitely do not rush things. It's completely normal to feel odd at first. Just be patient and let things happen. It will all work out okay. =]

Thought the same when I was 22. Didn't get close to getting married till I was 27. I just kind of matured into what was right for me. Hope you don't get anxious. Let nature and good sense keep you in good shape.
I'm exactly the same as you! Except for the whole wanting to marry thing (22 is so young).
For me it makes sense to get married and have children young. The last thing i would want to do is not be able to keep up with my kids when their in their teens and such. Though like others said, you shouldn't rush into something like marriage. It could end up being a huge mistake somewhere down the line.

it's normal and you don't have to rush it the only way to go around your problem is hanging out and try talking to as many guys as you can I think it's cute when a girl looks a little shy :)
