Is it normal to not enjoy the show, My Little Pony, but still be a Brony?
I find the show facile and asinine. It relies excessively on body humor and the writing overall feels childish. I don't like watching the show, but I feel obligated to whenever a new episode is out.
I don't understand why other adults enjoy the show.
Maybe you should stop watching it. It's a waste of time to watch something that bores you just because other people watch it.
You are not a brony. a BRONY is a male or adult male that likes to watch my little pony. That is like saying "Is it normal im gay but I find the thought of sleeping with the same gender gross and would never do it. I am totally gay though". You simply don't understand what a brony is. That is a requirement so no you are not a brony you wannabe. If you hate the show and don't watch it NO YOUR NOT A BRONY.
Any grown man, (I include teenagers as well in this) who watches or finds My Little Pony interesting enough to watch has serious issues. It's a show that's target market is young girls aged 5-10.

thank you finally a honest answer i ask that question on every my little pony post and you would think because of the large fan base that at least one of them would be able to give me a soild answer as to why they find the show so interesting but every time they all attack and insult me and never answer that very simple question now that i know its just a joke it all makes perfect sense

Bronies Actually started out with 4chan in 2010. Not long after the show began, a couple people made posts wildly bashing the show. well, people are a curious lot, and wanted to see if it was as bad as the posts said. many found out that the show wasn't bad at all, daresay good even. soon, people started talking about it on 4 chan and it spread from there.
i was confused at first about why people liked it, until i watched it. i was laughing and found i liked it.
the woman who created the show (Lauren Faust) was also the Co-creator for Fosters home for imaginary friends and The powerpuff girls. (with her husband, Craig Mccracken on the latter 2)
this is her attempt to make a girls show that had girls doing more than just talking about shopping, makeup and boys.
I recommend the episodes "the return of harmony, parts one and 2", and "Lesson Zero"
of course, it helps if you like to watch cartoons.
If you don't like it, don't Watch it, even if your entourage does. I don't get why MLP has become such a thread, but you don't have to follow it. Nobody will hate you for this.
