Is it normal to be a girl and play video games?

I'm an 18 year old girl. I enjoy having a good time and I usually go out often with friends to parties and such. However, when I'm at home I love to play xbox live and first person shooters like Call of Duty online. My guy friends think its great but I'm pretty sure my girl friends would be like wtf. Is this normal for me to play games and be a chick?

    Yes it's normal,i've been a gamer girl since i was a kid and i can't see what's the big deal about it.

    I'm a girl, and I love gaming so much my friends and I (guys AND girls mind you) have gaming parties at my house, or play codmw2 on live. Don't listen to the buttholes that say 'WTF?' they're just jealous that they don't know how to have a good time. :)

    Yeah thats normal. The guys find it cool! Some girlfriends may not like it so much though, just make sure you dont let those video games take over your life
