Is it normal to be a liberal and prefer a charismatic worship style?

I'm a pretty liberal Christian, I totally accept and support the rights of homosexuals, including marriage, I believe in letting women preach, don't believe in the whole literal creation story, don't believe that all non-Christians are damned and am open to universal salvation, etc. But I don't like more liberal churches like the Episcopalians whose services tend to be unexciting and boring to me. They remind me of the Catholic church which I grew up in and completely rejected. I live in a liberal city with lots of liberal churches but all tend to bore me. On the other hand I do love those crazy holy roller churches where people are jumping around and waving their hands in the air, they're interesting and exciting but I can't stand what they preach. So I go currently to a rare reasonably liberal evangelical and charismatic church, but I wonder why this is so uncommon and why I probably wouldn't have this option outside of a major liberal city.

Yeah pretty much what last guy said. You kind of just said I am a Christian but don't really believe anything they teach.
Doesn't matter which church you go to if you don't listen .

Then you aren't really a Christian from what you described...

I think it's normal. I am LDS and our churches tend to be pretty chilled out, but I am also from the south so if you go to the right church you will find that.

I'm not a believer myself, but my boyfriend is. That sort of church sounds great.

I assume that this church is not in the UK?
