If you do it a lot that explains why it comes easy to you. Try to find yourself projected in another place on earth, a garden, a special place, whatever... then when you're there try to smell or taste something. If you can, you're having an OBE/Projection, if you can't, you aren't.

All Five of my Senses work during this time.

That's good, in order to know you are having a real experience, they must work as well as in the physical world. Oh, and teacher says there is one problem with your original post: If you're asleep it's just a dream. You can only have an AP when you're awake.

When I have one, I have to sit or lay back somewhere comfortable in the dark and meditate on it. But then when it happens it seems like a dream until I verify the experience with my senses. I can't verify with sight or sound because I naturally have very lucid dreams, so I have to use feel, taste, or smell to verify. Sometimes I fall asleep during the experience, which is because I'm either too relaxed or too tired, but it's natural to do so. You just revert to your body when you dream is all.

But dreams can be just as useful as AP's or OBE's. Here's a site I like to study for my past life regressions and for dream interpretation: rainsnow.org

Sounds like psychotic episodes or mania. It's not normal and I would seek help.

However if you are actually capable of these things then contact the James Randi foundation. They will give you a million dollars if you can prove it.

THIS is why I fucking hate people who say these things. You don't know what the FUCK you're talking about.

Yet you didn't say why I was wrong, you just insulted me. How childish.

          Hate = I disagree.

I don't HAVE to explain myself. It's not childish, it's picking my battles, which is very mature.

So you feel it is very mature to swear at and abuse people without even giving a reason for why you are doing it?

Abuse? "Abuse is the improper usage or treatment for a bad purpose, often to unfairly or improperly gain benefit. Abuse can come in many forms, such as: physical or verbal maltreatment, injury, sexual assault, violation, rape, unjust practices; wrongful practice or custom; offense; crime, or otherwise verbal aggression."

But there was no aggression towards YOU, just your IDEA. There's a difference. I'm VERY passionate about this topic, and I will be as course and brutally honest as I see fit.

Don't be a pansy about it.

I'm sorry, our records indicate that you have been astral rejected.

It depends on exactly what you mean by an "Astral Projector".
The religious beliefs for this terminology are simply incorrect and impossible.

Strange .. as my cousin , along with myself have always been able to do this .. but while her projections were more frequent than mine .. she only did this while asleep whereas i can do both either sleeping or awake also.

You have to hit the little grey "reply" button in the bottom right corner of the comment you are trying to reply to, sweetie. They probably haven't seen what you've written because when you "reply" properly it sends them a notice of it.

Anything that is done often can be done subconsciously.

    Example:
I don't need to focus on what I'm doing when I drive around. (and I don't get lost either - even when I'm not paying attention)

    As for Astral Projection:
I find it easy, but since it's not something I'm experienced in, it requires a fair amount of concentration. If my focus is broken, I lose sync with the projection and instantly revert to my own body.
With enough concentration, I can be aware of what's happening around my physical body without reverting.

Have someone in another room open up a book to s rsnfom page and draw a picture of the first noun they come across.
From you place in the other room, float your disembodied self out there and then write down what you saw. I predict you won't successfully describe a pic no matter how many times you try. In other words, you aren't doing anything more than being imaginative.
