Don't fear it. Look forward to it. Think of all the cash you'll get from malpractice lawsuits.
That is so rare you've more chance of being struck by lightning. I had one of mine pulled without it and believe me, you want to be asleep! And if it happened you can sue them BIG time!
Snooki is also scared of this.....aparetnly its the only reason she doesnt want breast implants **perspective**. I had my wisdome teeth pulled and I was out - I mean you have to get them done anyway, they also make you numb to pain - worst case scenerio they are unproffessional and you can sue them.
I've never heard of that one.
I mean for local anesthesia you'll be aware but just won't feel anything where they're working. But if you are getting a general then you'll be unconscious.
The only issue I personally had was... how much I threw up afterwards. We had to go back to get something to counteract the side effects. But after that I felt fine, except for the swelling etc.
It's normal to be nervous about that, but just remember, anesthesia awareness is a rarity.
