Is it normal to be afraid of plants

I don't know anything that set this off. But since around the age of 10 or 11, ( I'm 19 now) I have been afraid of plants' (Certain ones of course.) I went on vacation in a jungle like place around that time, but can't remember anything happening. I know it's stupid and you probobly won't believe me since we need them to survive, but it is true. Please awnser with considerat thoughts.

It could be a phobia. Some phobias are hard to determine, it could have come from a traumatic experience or you could of gotten it from your parents or grandparents.

I've never heard of anyone being scared of plants, specifically, but it is normal to be scared of something obscure.

Maybe prickles. I find those a bit worrying.

I guess it depends on which kind of plants. Like, for example those fly trap things scare the living crap out of me. I think I can thank "the little shop of horrors" for that.
