Is it normal to be afraid of the national weather service voice?

I'm completely terrified of the creepy automated voice that does the National Weather Service announcements about tornados, thunderstorms, etc on the radio...the kind that comes on after the beeps...it scares me to death. It's not the warning about the weather that scares me, but that voice!

What the hale? Don't be afraid, the person behind the voice would probably like to go on a picnic with you on a sunny day with a moderate breeze and 10% chance of rain.....or cut your face off and wear it as a mask, hell i don't know.

I'm scared of that voice, but that is because I spent most of my life in areas that are prone to awful tropical storms and hearing that would normally lead to seeing a very scary weather report, so I guess that my fear is conditioned.
